More often than not if you've never worked within an accountancy firm it can be almost impossible and equally frustrating to get your foot in the door and get that all important experience.

Refreshingly we are working with an accountancy practice based in Lewes who are open to seeing your details for a Bookkeeping role if you don't have prior accountancy industry experience.

You'll be aware that the main difference for a Bookkeeper role in practice will see you working with multiple clients so if you can demonstrate your supreme multi-tasking and relationship building skills, then that's half the battle won!

So you're aware, the office is based just a short walk from Lewes train station.

About You:

• Ideally AAT qualified or an active studier although not essential
• Competent in producing management accounts and bookkeeping duties for a variety of clients
• Experience or an interest in the farming industry would be an advantage
• Competent with various accounting packages to include Sage, Quickbooks and Xero
• Confident in your accounting skills in a busy and demanding role
• Able to work on your own initiative sometimes without supervision
• Good communication skills both internally and externally
