The My Network +/ My Network service is a key project within the Aldingbourne Trust providing information, advice, guidance and support to people with learning disabilities and their carers. The My Network +  & My Network Worker will effectively and efficiently provide this service to people who access No 73 and also people in the community e.g. their own homes.
 
The purpose of the role is to promote independence and empowerment in the people with support. Our support is varied and includes support to maintain tenancies, organising benefits, manage finances and help to make and attend appointments with health professionals. We also provide opportunities for the people we support to socialise by running social clubs and thereby reducing social isolation.
 
The My Network + / My Network service is based at No 73 but the My Network +/ My Network Worker will be expected to see people in the community as well. My Network + / My Network Worker will work with a caseload of people we support and work closely with other agencies to promote independence amongst people with learning disabilities.
 
The contractual hours for this post are 24.5 hours per week
(to include alternative Thursday evening and Saturday working)
