KINGSHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL, CHICHESTER

33.75 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum

As part of a small team in a busy school environment, the Administrative Officer will principally manage the register and attendance process, whilst assisting with the admission of new pupils and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the school's administration.

Drawing on your experience, you will introduce and review systems and procedures that will enable you to undertake a wide range of duties effectively.  During busy periods and in the absence of the Administrative Assistant, you will provide a comprehensive reception service to parents and visitors to the school.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will liaise with a wide range of individuals and organisations. 

Educated to GCSE C or equivalent and with a high standard of literacy and numeracy, you will have a professional, friendly and helpful approach.  Ideally having experience of a school or academy setting, you will understand the need to be adaptable, and enjoy contributing to a team, whilst able to work with minimum supervision.
