We are looking for a motivated Contracts Officer who will be part of a team that ensure good quality, affordable services are available for all our residents contributing to the CAFHE objective of securing best value affordable services through the effective management of a portfolio of low risk/low value contacts. Working as part of an existing Contracts Team, you will develop and support contract arrangements, collating performance information through the set up and management of routine monitoring processes including regular contractor meetings. Working proactively with the existing and emerging markets you will develop relationships with customers and providers that ensure services are responsive and meet need. This will be a challenging and rewarding role and we are looking for an individual who has the appropriate aptitude and skills to really make a difference for some of the most vulnerable residents in our society. We are particularly keen to hear from professionals who have proven experience of working in a Social Care setting, or can evidence that they have transferable skills.. An understanding of market dynamics and market intelligence/development strategies would be desirable. This post involves county-wide travel therefore an independent means of transport is essential.
