Emergency On call Support Worker – West Sussex

90 hours per month (average) on call Emergency Carer Support Worker on a one week on, one week off rota basis

Salary: £10 per hour when called out during on-call week
£10 retainer if not called out in any 24hr period during on-call week

The post holder will be required to work as part of a team alternating weeks on call as a Emergency Response Carer Support Worker to support the Carer in an emergency respite request. Forming part of the Emergency Support Service where support is given for a maximum period of 48 hours during the week, or 72 hours during weekends or Bank Holidays. This may include weekends and over-night as the service is available 24 hours seven days a week.

A retainer is paid to the post holder when on Emergency On-call and not called out in any 24 hr period. A Co-ordinator will contact the post holder to provide the emergency / urgent respite support, within the county of West Sussex.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this position.
