West Sussex are continuing to evolve and broaden our Educational Psychology Service and this has led to an exciting opportunity for those either who have established experience as a manager or those who are seeking to make the next step in their career development.

We are seeking an area Senior Educational Psychologist to join our friendly, supportive and established team in West Sussex. We have office bases in Worthing and Horsham ideally located for the nearby cities of Chichester and Brighton. This post will be based in Worthing supporting schools in the western area of West Sussex. The role involves the day to day management of an EP area team as well as supporting the LA in other related areas of work including representation of the service at events and panels and contributing to discussions regarding the structure and direction of the EPS.

Our service is made up of area teams, each managed by an area Senior Educational Psychologist. In addition, the Educational Psychology Service manages other specialist support services. We also host Trainee Educational Psychologists.

I’m grateful that I am employed here and I believe that I am really valued. I love being an EP.

The IT facilities and flexibility of being able to work from home and elsewhere , as well as the office is a real benefit.
