We are seeking a Grade 7 Care Officer to join our team of knowledgeable and experienced professionals supporting adults who have a learning disability in a day-service.

The role involves supporting and supervising staff, taking responsibility for areas of the service and delivering an excellent service to all customers. The role will also include providing duty cover, leading a "key-group" of staff members working together to support a group of customers by: building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and their support networks, arranging and chairing reviews and generally overseeing the care and support offered by the "key-team".

You will be required to deliver sessions to customers as well as planning, monitoring and evaluating sessions delivered by themselves and others. We currently offer sessions in a broad range of areas which includes: art, photography, music, drama IT, cooking skills, contract work, crafts and health maintenance - an interest or some expertise in one or more of these areas would be of benefit.
