Heirlooms are a leading manufacture of bespoke bed, table and bathroom linens working with interior designers, property developers, UK and international royalty. We are creating a new position for a cutting assistant to work with our friendly team.

Main purpose of the job:

•  To assist with the day to day some operation of the cutting department

Main duties:

• Booking in fabrics from suppliers.
• Ensuring accuracy in record keeping for the fabrics.
• Learning and understanding the different fabrics that are used within the business.
• Assist with the running of the Assist Bulmer cutting machine folding items and labeling them correctly for manufacture.
• Liaising between the cutting department and the production supervisor for recuts / clarification of information.
• Organising of fabrics for samples for sales team.
• Assist with warehouse duties when required.

Experience / Skills Required

• Good written and spoken English
• Organised and accurate record keeping
• Attention to detail.
• Polite and friendly to work as a team.

• This is a trainee role which can be developed further into in becoming a fabric cutter.
