Customer Services Officer (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

If yes, then we are looking for you. We are currently recruiting for a Customer Services Officer who puts the needs of the customers at the heart of every decision they make.

The successful candidate will:

• Be confident in communicating with customers in person, over the phone, via email and social media
• Deliver excellent quality, flexible, customer focussed services to enable us to achieve, or exceed, our customer satisfaction targets
• Have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills with an ability to understand the needs and perceptions of clients, handling difficult situations sensitively and negotiating appropriate outcomes.
• Work effectively with colleagues to provide a joined up service that meets our vision and values
• Demonstrate a high level of commitment and excellence in delivering customer services

Main responsibilities:

• To provide a high quality 'one stop shop' service to customers and other visitors
• To deal effectively and courteously with all customer enquiries such as repairs, tenancy matters, lettings, rent account and arrears queries resolving the majority of these immediately
• Managing low level arrears, advising customers promptly and arranging repayments together with some other administration duties
• To develop and maintain a thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of Worthing Homes' services including procedures, guidance and legislation
