This post within the Country Centre team includes responsibility for the support and development for people with learning disabilities and our horticultural offer to visitors and customers.

 By providing Horticultural and Gardening services on site at the Country Centre you will be working alongside and be responsible for supporting people to learn associated vocational skills. In addition to working on site there may be opportunities to provide this service within the local community.   The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring that the grounds of the Centre present an attractive and welcoming environment for everyone.

 You will be required to develop excellent working relationships with Country Centre staff, volunteers, people with disabilities and visitors to the Country Centre. You will be supported by the Aldingbourne Country Centre Manager and the Country Centre team. Due to the nature of this role, regular weekend working is required including public holidays.  Rotas will be agreed on a monthly rolling basis.

The contractual hours for this post are 37.5 hours per week

based on working 5 days from 7 (dependent on rotas), including some weekend and public holidays.
