Large national care provider requires Support workers for a service based in the Littlehampton area to work with adults who have learning disabilities.

Residential service based in Littlehampton for 5 adults aged 18-65 with moderate to severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviour which provides long term care and support with maximum promotion of independence.

As a support worker your role will require a patient and empathetic approach to the daily job, supporting service users in their day to day activities, engaging them in a variety of household and recreational activities including meals out, family contact and escorting on holidays.

The job role role requires you to have at least 6 months experience supporting people with learning disabilities in a similar setting, also you must be enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a team in a sometimes challenging and pressurised environment.

Flexible approach to work is essential to this role as you will need to be able to work shifts including weekends and evenings.
