Based at Arun Civic Centre, Littlehampton

We have an exciting opportunity available within the Planning Policy & Strategic Development Team of the Planning & Economic Regeneration Directorate.

The Principal Planning Officer position – To be involved in all aspects of development management; the Strategic Development part of the post will focus on larger strategic applications and the Development Control part of the post on complex applications within the District.

This position has an extensive amount of public contact, the occasional presentation of items at Committee, attendance at public meetings, hearings and other meetings as required.  Some out of office hours working is part of the job requirement.
