We are looking for 2 Support Workers - 1 permanent and 1 maternity cover

37 hours per week Monday to Friday (which will may include some weekend and evening work)

Based in Bognor Regis but covering all Stonepillow supported accommodation across the Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton area

Stonepillow offers shelter, information and support to empower homeless and vulnerable people to make positive changes in their lives.

Working in our Supported Accommodation Team you will enable adults who may have experienced a number of complexities including homelessness, Mental Health and/or Substance misuse issues or are in some other way socially disadvantaged to live as fully independently as possible.

Ideally you will have experience of working with homelessness as well as substance misuse and/or mental health issues. A working knowledge of safeguarding and implementing individual support plans is desirable as well as the ability to work independently , often lone working, as well as in part of a team.

It is essential that you will have a non-judgmental and enabling approach to supporting single homeless and vulnerable adults and have experience and knowledge of Health, Housing and Work issues facing service users who are in recovery.
