We are looking for someone to join us who is passionate about effectively engaging, involving and supporting volunteers for the benefit of the people we support people with learning disabilities.
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for all elements of volunteering and work experience within the Trust. The role will involve forming relationships and assessing the needs of each Aldingbourne Trust project and then meeting those needs through the recruitment, placement, induction and retention of volunteers.
Volunteer Coordinators manage volunteers and their relationship with those they come into contact with, including external organisations, our staff and the people we support. In addition, the role is about building and sustaining community links with local schools and colleges to support students in work experience, traineeships, Duke of Edinburgh awards and apprenticeships.
The contractual hours for this post are 21 hours per week, and the days and times worked are flexible.
