We have a rare and exciting career opportunity within our Greenspace Service to help delivery the provision of quality parks, foreshores and public open spaces for the benefit of our residents and visitors. The Greenspace Service, based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex is seeking a full-time Multi-skilled Technician. Candidates should be experienced, enthusiastic and a desire to contribute towards a successful team environment. You should demonstrate a positive adaptable approach and a ‘can do’ attitude as a team player. Good organisational skills and a proven ability to work under pressure during incidents are essential. You must understand site health and safety requirements and you’ll need good communication skills to work with customers and partners. The role is varied; you will primarily be required to undertake general repairs and maintenance, maintain sea defences, maintain ditches lines and install street nameplates. The ideal candidate will have experience with plant and machinery and a foundation of practical skills is required, as well as the ability to prioritise work and work on their own initiative. You will need to be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather. A full valid driving licence is essential.
