This is an interesting and unique administration post supporting the Approved Mental Health Professional Service. You will be the first point of contact for Mental Health Act referrals across the County as well as for partner agencies such as the Police and Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust.

With significant experience of dealing with customers and providing a high level of service, giving advice and guidance, you will be able to deal with referrals and general enquiries quickly and efficiently.

You will also have good communication skills both verbal and written, as well as the ability to work calmly under pressure.

You will have good IT skills including Word and Excel (or equivalent packages) for word processing, data processing, maintaining basic computer databases and production of straightforward statistical data.
