An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Coastal Management team managing a busy Adults Community Team. The post will be based in Centenary House Worthing but the post holder must be willing to travel across the Coastal area.

You should have a minimum of 4 years post qualifying experience, which includes a proven ability to supervise others and an awareness of the support requirements for staff undertaking ASYE and CPD.

You will have experience of working within a multi-disciplinary setting would be desirable and an understanding of the current legislative framework involving the wider health and social care system is essential. You will be required to understand and interpret detailed technical information and oversee complex situations, which will include chairing Best Interest meetings and making applications to the Court of Protection.

Relevant knowledge and experience of managing safeguarding enquiries and responding to complaints is also required. You will also need to have an awareness of the current financial settlement and how this impacts on budgets and decision making.

Understanding of the wider national agenda around integration would be beneficial.
