This is an exciting opportunity to lead the estate management and valuation section of the Council’s Property & Estates Service which prides itself on innovation and enjoys a high profile. The post holder will be responsible for the strategic and day to day operational estate management and valuation work on the Council’s General Fund Asset Portfolio (including concessions) in accordance with the strategies, and plans approved by the Council. The Council encourages the post holder to come forward with entrepreneur ideas. The post creates an opportunity for the successful applicant to contribute to income generating ideas and delivery as well as the town centre regeneration within the district which is a key thread of the Council’s future strategy. The post holder is expected to have at least 5 years post qualification experience of asset management practice and a professional qualification with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is desirable.
