We are looking for a committed social care professional with a sound knowledge of fostering legislation and practice issues who will be able to continue to deliver the same high standards of service. You will be involved in recruiting, training and supporting foster carers and promoting the welfare of children placed with the Fostering agency.

You will be required to take part in the out of hours on call service and undertake assessments. The successful candidate will join a fostering team that is reflective and creative in practice.

You will have a relevant professional qualification in social work as well as substantial experience of foster care practice including the assessment of potential foster carers. A good knowledge of fostering regulations, child care law and safeguarding issues is essential, as is the ability to make objective professional assessments of children or young people. You will be a strong team player and be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This post is based in Rustington but does involve travel to other areas; therefore a car is essential to the role.

Newly built multiple learning disability service based in Burgess Hill requires permanent full time support workers to join their team in a growing service.

Job role involves working with a wide range of learning disabilities including PMLD and also autism and other associated learning disabilities.

The successful candidate must be flexible in their approach to the job role and be prepared to carry out personal care tasks as well as deal with varying levels of challenging behaviour.

Service consists of 4 homes with 4 beds in each and is situated in a quite residential area which is close to train station links and bus routes.
