We are looking for a talented social work leader, to lead our newly developed Resilience and Permanence Service, delivering Adolescent Resources, Children Looked After and Court and Residential Care Services to the children and families of West Sussex.

We have put in place a brand new service delivery structure which we are confident will support our ambition to provide high quality outcome focussed services to children and their families.

We are looking for a leader who has a systems leadership orientation, a passion for excellence in social work practice, with a proven track record of effective management and leadership to take our staff through an on-going period of transformation.

In particular you will be focused on:
• Developing the work of the service and improving the quality of the provision and outcomes for young people
• Leading managers and practitioners in the provision of high quality, evidence based interventions through creating an environment where employees can develop, progress and feel proud of the work they do
• Building effective working relationships with key service delivery partners
• Working effectively as part of a leadership team who operate from a collaborative, systems oriented perspective to ensure that we achieve good outcomes for children in a context of high demand and fiscal constraints
