Household Insurance Advisor – Sussex - £24k+Commissin (OTE £30-35k)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly growing insurance brokerage based in East Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting existing (typically Mid-High Net Worth) clients and helping arrange their home insurance, whilst also reviewing their other insurance policies.

Experience with Home Insurance is therefore essential, but full training will be provided within other areas of the business, to enable the candidate to provide advice on a wide range of other insurance products for personal, business and HNW customers.

The candidate will also have the opportunity to play a vital role in how this part of the business develops over the longer term.

Responsibilities will include:
To maximise home insurance sales
To contact existing customers
To look for cross-sale opportunities in other areas
To generate referrals

This is a telephone based role, and there is no cold calling. An excellent telephone manner is essential, as is the ability to build rapport and trust with the client. Candidates must be able to make appropriate policy recommendations in unscripted calls, choosing from a wide universe of possible policy options. The role therefore requires a high level of mental agility, to ensure the best recommendations are made, coupled with the ability to close a sale over the phone.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge within the general insurance market, be driven and enthusiastic, have an entrepreneurial attitude, and be motivated to develop new business.
