We are a happy well established Nursery whose ethos is to be outside as much as possible regardless of the weather. We have an allotment and an orchard plus access to woods therefore an interest in the outside is essential.

Responsibilities will be ensuring that the children are cared for in a happy and safe environment and working with the team to plan stimulating activities within the EYFS.
Excellent communication skills and a full understanding of the Principles and Practices required by Ofsted are required. Candidates must be computer literate for planning and recording observations.

A high standard of literacy and knowledge of mathematics and science for the EYFS is required to enhance the childrens understanding and a commitment to increase this knowledge is required where necessary.

We require someone who is enthusiastic; enjoys working in a team; has a good sense of humour; is flexible and able to use their initiative in a busy Nursery. Primarily they must fully enjoy working with some very inquisitive children but be sensitive to the needs of all.

Qualifications
Level 3 in childcare essential; Child Protection Training; First Aid and Food Hygiene certificate desirable.
