An opportunity has arisen for a part time Youth Support Worker based within the FindItOut centres in the Crawley and Burgess Hill areas. This role is part of a resource pool so travel to meetings and other centres may be required at times. We are looking for an individual with patience, good judgement, objectivity, good listening and communication skills and the ability to relate to young people. The ability to work as part of a team along with experience and understanding of young people is essential. The FindItOut Service Centres offer a safe and comfortable space where young people aged 13-25 can drop in or make an appointment to talk to an Adviser in a confidential and non-judgemental setting. The service provides information, advice and guidance on a wide range of issues including housing, benefits, debt worries, sexual health, mental health, relationship issues, justice and equality, substance misuse, education, employment and training.
