An opportunity has arisen within Citizens Advice Central & South Sussex for a Welfare Benefits Specialist to support the frontline service team with the changes expected in particular to Universal Credit. The main duties will be to: • To provide consultancy/helpline for frontline service delivery teams • Support and mentor volunteers • Design and deliver training and development workshops across all Advice Centres as required • Ensure quality of specialist advice meets Citizens Advice standards and audit requirements • Complete a limited amount of client casework The post holder will be working closely with the Advice Supervisors and reports to the Learning & Development Team Leader. A car user will be preferred due to a need to travel to all centres.
