You will work as part of the wider Family Support Network team, this is a new and challenging role which will position you within a local district borough council area tasked with building purposeful relationships and functional networks of professionals and communities with a single focus of the co-ordination and delivery of high quality and timely Early Help support to improve outcomes for children in their families, their support networks and the communities they live in.

You will manage a small support team as part of this role.

You should be able to demonstrate a skilled use of self to communicate, train and influence for change that improves early help practice. With knowledge of safeguarding and thresholds you will demonstrate the ability to analyse family history and assessments to support effective multi-agency intervention and you will be confident in your ability to negotiate and manage gaps and delay in support services while seeking effective solutions for children.

With a resilient and creative approach you will build resilience and develop capacity within local partnerships, communities and family networks rather than promote dependence on statutory services as the only solution to supporting families sooner.
