Medical Claims/Case Manager, Sussex Up to £38000 + Benefits & Bonus.

Search Consultancy are looking for a Registered Nurse, Paramedic or equivalent, to take up the post of a Medical Case Manager for a leading Insurance company in Sussex.

You will need to have a broad range of nursing skills and have experience and knowledge of working in an emergency/critical care setting.

Part of job role will be to medically monitor cases by telephone of patients being repatriated from abroad and review medical reports, review or recommend medically necessary travel requirements.
You will perform case reviews to determine compatibility of medical condition and policy coverage, including working with the claims department.
You will work with Assistance Coordinators to assure quality assistance services to the client by directing case management in relation to medical needs, and work with the on duty Doctor on medical cases to determine optimal direction of case management.

To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate personal expertise and knowledge in out-of-hospital emergency care, medical transport services and be self motivated and able to work under pressure.

Previous experience working in the insurance market will be a distinct advantage.
