The West Sussex Youth Offending Service wishes to recruit a dynamic and committed individual to help develop the use of Restorative Justice in West Sussex. Funded by the Sussex and Surrey Police Crime Commissioners Office and West Sussex County Council, and managed within the Restorative Justice Team, this post will focus on supporting those working with Children Looked After to develop their restorative practice.

You will work to develop relationships with residential and educational establishment providing training to support them to increase their use of Restorative Justice. You will coordinate and chair a quarterly forum for engaged providers and will act as a consultant to them following their completion of the training.

You will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Restorative Justice alongside considerable practical experience of Restorative Justice. You will have an understanding of the needs of Children Looked After and will have had experience in writing and delivering training.
