Ready to share your great ideas, great practice and great outcomes, you will manage a small team within a specialist area, dealing with complex family dynamics and high levels of risk in partnership with a range of agencies. It’s a chance to make your mark as you provide expertise and guidance to colleagues to ensure that families get the interventions and support they need. Passionate about making a difference, you will be responsible for motivating and leading a small group of social workers and other staff, providing expert supervision, mentoring /coaching and supporting the development of reflective and relationship based practice. You will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle Practice Manager – Children Looked After (south) based in Worthing/Bognor Practice Manager – Children Looked After (north) based in Horsham Our priority is to maximise the wellbeing of children who are looked after and ensure that they are enabled to enjoy and achieve their full potential within a secure family environment. The teams work with children and young people through the family proceedings process focusing on permanency and care planning, preparing and placing children for adoption and legal permanency and preparing young people for leaving care. All our staff are trained to understand and work with attachment and developmental trauma and we are developing our use of Signs of Safety approaches
