Would you like to make working with Children in Need a Priority? As part of the Children’s Social Care Re-design, an exciting opportunity has been created to do just that!
We are recruiting 4 Advanced Practitioners who will take a lead responsibility for Reviewing Child and Family Plans for Children in Need (s17 CA 1989). You will also work closely with other Advanced Practitioners across the service, building on and enhancing high quality planning and interventions for vulnerable children ensuring outcomes for those children and young people are improved and sustainable. You will meet the criteria for an AP role, and be able to evidence a passion for making a difference supported by the skills, knowledge and drive to put that passion into practice. You will be confident in your expertise and be able to transfer that into constructive challenge if plans for children are not progressing at the required pace. You will be genuine in your belief that working in partnership with families and key partner agencies is the most effective way to work, keeping the child central to the plan, and be able to evidence this in your practice at all times. You will be confident in your use of Signs of Safety and committed to your own professional development.
You will be part of a team whose ambition is to make working with Children in Need a priority by improving Pace, Purpose and Proportionality. Your role will also include supporting a seamless transition to Early Help, or if required, into a Child Protection Process.
Advanced Practitioners (Child in Need)
£37,483 to £40,217 per annum
Permanent, Full-time and Part-time
Based in various locations (Horsham or Worthing)
