Commercial Account Handler – Sussex - C£22k

My well established client is looking for a commercial account handler to join their business in one of their Sussex branches.

You will be looking after a book of SME business and servicing the account from new business throughout to renewal. This is a great opportunity to get into a commercial account handling role and progress up the ladder within this supportive company.

Your responsibilities will include:
Looking after a book of commercial business ranging in premium from £250-£3k.
Dealing with a wide range of classes including: property owners, D&O, office, commercial combined, PI.
Servicing the book at all stages from new business to renewal.
Generating new business through referrals from existing clients.
Cross selling to existing clients.
Occasional visits to local clients to build relationships.

You will ideally have some commercial insurance experience, however experience within other areas of insurance will be considered for the right candidate. You will need to be driven, willing to build on your existing insurance knowledge, and be a strong communicator.
