It is an exciting time to be joining West Sussex Local Safeguarding Children Board. The board is the statutory body responsible for ensuring that children and young people are protected and safeguarded, and plays a key role in overseeing how professionals and services work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.

The Practice Development Manger will take forward and develop the current training programme, incorporating objectives from the business plan and any learning both nationally and locally. The Practice Development Manager will be directly responsible for management and oversight of the training programme which will include quality assurance, commissioning, and delivery where required.

HCPC registration required for health and social work qualified applicants and/or equivalent evidence of continuing professional development for applicants from other professional backgrounds with relevant experience.
