Claims Handler, Sussex. Up to £25,000 plus benefits.
Working for a leading Insurance operation you will be responsible for handling claims from first advice through to final settlement.
Negotiating with Insurers to achieve the most beneficial and fair settlement for the client.
Meet agreed standards of service, volumes and performance targets in accordance with bespoke Service Level Agreements.
Working on cases within your own authority levels. Reporting large and/or contentious claims immediately to the Claims Team Leader and provide appropriate updates.
Build relationships with claimant/client/insurer/loss adjuster.
Understand the Clients insurance programmes and service plans.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policy wordings and claims related issues.
Working within FSA and company Compliance procedures and guidelines.
Managing claims for scheme related business across personal accident, travel and medical.

Individuals must have previous claims handling experience. Preferably within one or more of the disciplines above.
You'll be a hard working team player with a well organised and adaptable approach.
Possess a keen eye for detail and be educated to A Level standard.
Progress towards Cert CII a distinct advantage.
