West Sussex County Council (WSCC) is developing a team for Older People’s Mental Health, covering the Northern area of the county - Horsham / Crawley and Mid Sussex.

An exciting opening for a Social/Senior Social Worker (SW/SSW) who has experience in Mental Health has now arisen in the Older People’s mental health team, which is a multi-disciplinary team based in Linwood, in Haywards Heath. The SW/SSW will primarily be working with customers over 65 covering the Northern Locality which includes Horsham, Mid Sussex, and Crawley.

Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team and knowledge of mental health is desirable. The successful applicant is required to have an understanding of the essential social care legislation, including Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults.

The job requires the holder to have a car and a clean driving licence as we cover a rural area.
