Account Handler – Sussex Competitive Salary with Excellent Benefits

A market leading insurance firm is on the look out for experienced account handlers to join their team.

Under supervision, you will provide an effective client service by ensuring that renewal invitations, wordings, endorsements and invoices are correctly produced to meet agreed service levels. This is predominately in relation to Fee Protection, Personal Accident, Personal Effects, Private Medical Insurance and Travel Insurance for schools, pupils and staff.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Issue renewal invitations, policy wordings , and produce endorsements, certificates and invoices to meet agreed service levels and client needs
• Communicate regularly with clients to answer their questions and understand and meet their requirements
• Update/produce client related information and spreadsheets
• Set-up and maintain electronic files and computerised records
• Keep team leader, schemes manager and colleagues informed of relevant activities, developments and issues

Your responsibilities will also include:
• Undertake assigned project work
• Comply with relevant legal/ regulatory requirements and standards and procedures
• Required to make decisions based on established processes and procedures in relation to own job
• Accountable for own performance and compliance against objectives and standards

The successful candidate will be Cert CII or working towards, with experience in the insurance industry.
