An established in-house legal function within an IT company in West Sussex is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Paralegal or Assistant Solicitor to review and provide advice in respect of commercial contracts and employment law. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop within a successful company.

This is an interesting new role which will require a hands on approach. Duties will include:

* You will be required to review, amend and draft various types of commercial agreements including master service agreements, professional service agreements, service level agreements, supplier agreements and various terms and conditions.
* Review and check NDA's
* Assist the Legal Counsel in providing advice to the company on commercial contracts, employment matters and other adhoc advice.
* Assist where required the Legal Counsel with putting in place systems, processes, policies and procedures.
* Manage and escalate any legal risk or employment law issues to Legal Counsel
* Various administrative responsibilities in accordance with the role (to include document and contract management)
* Carry out the reasonable instructions of your Line Manager.

You will be an experienced Paralegal or NQ-3 year PQE Solicitor, with commercial contracts and employment law experience gained in-house or within practice. It is desirable that the successful candidate will also have some procurement experience with the ability to advise on Tenders, although training can be given. Strong communication skills and good presentation are a must.

It should be noted that due to the remote location of the offices, the candidate will need his/her own transport to travel into work.
