This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Adults Safeguarding Unit, providing advice, guidance, and scrutiny for operational teams responsible for responding to safeguarding adults concerns. You will support good practice through consultation, case file audits and briefings; contribute to the design and delivery of the multi agency training program; and have a key role in development work. Responsible for ensuring wider learning from safeguarding adults work is identified and taken forward, you will also independently chair case conferences for the most complex safeguarding adults’ enquiries.

You will have a key role in supporting the implementation of the Care Act 2014; Making Safeguarding Personal; and for ensuring consistent practice of a high standard in line with the Sussex Multi-Agency Policy and Procedures for Safeguarding Adults at Risk. You will be required to travel throughout the county and be flexible in your approach.
