The Independent Living Service (ILS) helps people with disabilities to live more independent, productive lives. It enables people with impairments to carry out essential activities, in a wide variety of settings.

The ROVI staff work within the ILS and provide advice, equipment, training and recommendations for home adaptations to enable people to live more independently. ILS also supports families or friends who act as carers for someone with an impairment and can offer help on how they may best cope with any problems.

We are looking for two Assistant ROVI's to work under the supervision of a qualified Rehabilitation Officer for the Visually Impaired. You will undertake and complete assessments and appropriate interventions, including arranging for registration, and making appropriate arrangements for service users and carers so that they can be maintained in their chosen home environment. and carers so that they can be maintained in their chosen home environment.

Salary £18,638 to £19,817
