As the Provider Services Operations Manager you will have senior management accountability for front line services delivered through: • 7 Day Centres and 5 Residential Centres for people with learning disabilities; • 2 Resource Centres providing respite and rehabilitative care for older people and people with dementia; • 8 Specialist Day Centres for older people and others with specialist needs; and • the Shared Lives Service supporting vulnerable adults in family settings. These services are located throughout the county with a staff group of approximately 400 people. You will lead and manage these services to meet transformational strategic outcomes. This means having the leadership qualities to deliver significant changes and priorities in terms of political, regulatory, performance and financial measures. You will act as the professional lead for this service area within Adults’ Services advising Members and strategic partners accordingly. This post is the Nominated Individual registered with the Care Quality Commission. You will work in partnership with a range of internal and external partners and stakeholders, most especially ensuring that our customers and their families are supported through change. As a member of the Adults’ Services Management Group you will work with colleagues to ensure a joined up strategic vision and approach is undertaken. You will also take a lead role for the Management Group in some specific areas such as health & safety or business continuity in the event of industrial action.
