An exciting opportunity has arisen within the hospital social work team, where you will be able to use your experience and knowledge to help shape and develop a team which aims to deliver a high quality of standard to it's customers and partner agents. We are looking for someone who is creative, committed and able to develop positive relationships with customers, partner agencies and colleagues. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to constructively challenge and advocate for your clients and colleagues alike. You will also be able to develop your skills as a practitioner in a fast moving and dynamic environment.

You will act as a lead professional responsible for delivering a statutory social work service to those people who access or need the service. To include assessment, planning, implementing and review, this includes being responsible for leading on a specialist area of service delivery, ensuring that key developments are communicated to colleagues and that business change is successfully implemented. You will also be responsible for leading on a complex and challenging portfolio of casework and providing supervision, expertise and guidance on casework to colleagues.

The postholder is expected to work within organisational, policy and legislative requirements.
