Fraud Claims Handler - Sussex - up to £30k plus excellent benefits.

My client is a specialist motor insurer with a number of offices across the South East. They are currently recruiting for a Fraud Claims Investigator for their Sussex based operation.

You will be responsible for identifying and resolving fraudulent motor claims of various size and complexity.

Responsibilities:
Investigating Injury related cases arising from staged accidents, phantom passengers, slam ons etc.
Screen referral cases against fraud indicators to identify (or mitigate) potential fraud.
Using a variety of desktop tools to investigate claims and claimants.
Interview claimants over the phone to validate claim.
Managing claims caseload, in accordance with the claims philosophy, claims handling procedures and service levels.
Adhering to agreed personal authority limits, referring to line manager for authorisation where activity exceeds such limits.
Working closely with a number of external customers liaising with field investigators, engineers, police, other insurers etc..
Assessing reports and key data received from various sources.
Presenting findings to all relevant parties involved.

You must have;
Previous experience of working in a motor fraud claims role, preferably from within an insurer.
Strong market knowledge of motor insurance.
Good team player with attention to detail and a highly professional approach.
Knowledge of claims regulations.
