Title: HR & Facilities Officer – Dual Site
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HR & Facilities Officer. This fantastic opportunity will enable strong development and exposure for your career

The Role:
HR
* Working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
* Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
* Liaising with a wide range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance
* Recruiting staff – this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, shortlisting
* Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management
* Interpreting and advising on employment legislation
* Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
* Developing HR planning strategies with line managers which consider immediate and long term staff requirements in terms of numbers and skill levels
* To prepare a monthly report for the HR manager as required
* Ensure appraisals are completed on time
* General Administration
* Any other duties from time to time as requested by HR Manager


H&S and facilities
* Overseeing both housekeeping operations
* Ordering various consumables
* Managing admin cost account abilities
* Facilities awareness both sites maintenance
* Maintaining servicing and leasing of all company cars.
* Managing key suppliers H and S, risk assessments, audits, due diligence H and S training, induction.
* Maintain accurate records and scheduling
* Serving internal customers appropriately and within agreed timescales
* Managing deadlines and own time across both sites Custodian of Standards Provide regular updates
* Sound planning and appropriate delegating or escalating of issues
* General administration
* Any other duties from time to time as requested by the HR Manager or Factory Manager


Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HR systems and processes, competitor HR practices and employment law. You will need to be CIPD qualified, have previous experience in a HR role.

You will need to be a strategic thinker, structured and organised, a team player, be confident and assertive and have integrity and trust.
